DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting by building solutions and breaking down technical problems. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computing and Security Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computing and Security Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
