We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute software development activities across the full lifecycle. This role focuses on designing, building, testing, and maintaining reliable software solutions that meet business or mission-critical requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and execute software development activities from concept through deployment and maintenance.Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions that address business or mission requirements.Translate functional and technical requirements into efficient, maintainable code.Apply industry standards, development processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.Utilize knowledge of computer hardware, software architectures, and data processing techniques to develop effective solutions.Collaborate with system users, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and refine software functionality.Diagnose and correct software defects and performance issues.Prepare operating instructions, technical documentation, and development artifacts.Analyze system capabilities and constraints to resolve questions related to program intent, inputs, outputs, and processing logic.Ensure compliance with software quality standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.Required SkillsREQUIRED: Top Secret Security Clearance1+ year of experience in software engineering/ education and security clearance will also be consideredProficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or similar).Strong understanding of SDLC processes, including design, coding, testing, and maintenance..Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts clearly.Competence in creating technical documentation and development artifacts.
