DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: configuring and customizing Genesys solutions; using Genesys SDKs and APIs for custom development; designing, optimizing, and managing databases within Genesys applications; configuring and customizing Genesys reporting tools including Genesys Info Mart and Genesys Interaction Analytics, and performing performance tuning and optimization of Genesys applications. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: designing and implementing robust, maintainable, and scalable test automation frameworks; executing performance test plans, including load, stress, and endurance testing; identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF; integrating Genesys PSDK to develop microservices for chat and email interaction routing; developing call routing strategies using Composer; implementing reporting capabilities using ICON and Infomart architecture; developing and optimizing monitoring and automation using shell scripting, Netcool, Splunk, and expect scripting; developing microservices using Spring Boot; enhancing system scalability with Kafka; employing Object- Oriented methodologies; Core Java, including OOP, Collections, and Multithreading; Java 8+ features including Lambdas and Streams; managing transactions in Spring; utilizing Spring Security; managing database interactions using ORM, Hibernate, and Spring Data JPA; implementing CI/CD pipelines; managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters; ensuring system security and performance.
