The Moss Adams Advisory Services - Software Applications Team is a custom software development team within Moss Adams Consulting, focused on building leading edge technology solutions for our clients. We build custom software solutions based on an iterative delivery model with an agile mindset. Typical projects include high end enterprise web applications, integrated with large SQL databases and enterprise systems. Defines QA tasks on various projects (working with the Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Developers), including scope of testing, test strategy, test plans and test cases and provide time estimates for testing activitiesExecutes and coordinates project testing activities (functional, regression, integration, performance, etc.)Utilizes ad hoc and manual testing strategies (black box and white box) as appropriateThoroughly documents test cases and test results using support test case management and defect toolsUnderstands client business and technology requirements, and develops tailored test automation solutions to validate client needsConsults with Developers and other team members to design and implement automated functional and integration tests that validate database, middle, and UI layers of web applicationsLeverages and extends existing automation test frameworks to implement and execute testsHelps maintain and brainstorm new strategies for existing automation frameworksDevelops and executes SQL scripts to create test data for functional verification and to support load and performance testingWorks within defined project milestones and budgetsIdentifies and analyzes technical challenges and impacts
