Description Amazon is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) II to develop in-app self-service support options when unexpected defects occur. This team aims to eliminate the need for transporters, delivering packages on behalf of Amazon, to contact Customer Service (CS) to solve defects. The Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) Tech team builds solutions leveraging the latest technology to provide best-in-class support options when they need it. As a SDS Tech SDE, you will help tackle a diverse landscape of technical problems. You will design, develop, and deploy reliable distributed solutions that operate at Amazon scale. You will work with a variety of core languages and technologies including Java and AWS services. You will tackle problems, novel situations every day, and will have the opportunity to work alongside talented Amazon engineers to redefine an industry. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
