**Key Job Responsibilities (with Automation Emphasis)** + Design and implement **automated Communications Components, Applications, and Services** to support scalable and reliable operations. + Partner with Satellite, Networks, and Security engineering teams to **integrate automation into cross-functional systems** . + Design components, services, and relevant data models with a focus on **automated provisioning and deployment** . + Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate **automated e-Commerce software solutions** for Kuiper. + Lead initiatives to build e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure, implementing **automation best practices** for software development and cloud operations. + Develop code and build **CI/CD pipelines** , **test automation frameworks** , and **monitoring dashboards** to ensure system health and performance. + Support engineers by building solutions required for **automated provisioning and operation** of Internet service provider infrastructure. **Basic Qualifications** + 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. + 2+ years of non-internship experience in system design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling). + Experience programming with at least one software programming language. + Strong experience with: + **Java-based SDKs** + **AWS-based development** + **API design and automation** + **JSON for data exchange and integration** **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience integrating Financial Application and Accounting solutions (e.g., Oracle). + 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including: + **Coding standards** + **Code reviews** + **Source control management** + **Automated build processes** + **Automated testing** + **Automated operations** + Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. **Additional Technical Skills (Automation-Focused)** + **Java (MVC Framework)** for scalable and maintainable codebases. + **AWS Cloud-native skills and tooling** for infrastructure automation. + **API creation/JSON** – RESTful web services and possibly GraphQL. + **AWS API Gateway** – for managing and automating API lifecycle. **FAA Domain (Preferred Skills)** + Oracle EBS financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM. + **Oracle SQL, PL/SQL** – procedural querying for automated reports, triggers, and stored procedures. + **ETL and data processing automation** . + ERP systems and Oracle business processes. + Financial reporting automation: balance sheets, income statements, cash flow. + Web services: **REST and SOAP** . + **Data conversion and financial data management automation** .
