Software Development Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Digital Services Development Engineer who will be responsible for software architecture design, coding, and verification testing of in-vehicle digital services. This role involves the development of innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, specifically focusing on applications that interface with various cross-domain electronic systems within automobiles. The software products may require integration with external servers and updates through OTA. Expertise across the software development lifecycle, including software requirement analysis, architectural design, detailed design, and various forms of software verification/validation, is crucial. Responsibilities + Design and implement software architecture for in-vehicle digital services. + Develop software code using tools like VS Code, MATLAB Simulink, or similar software. + Perform static code analysis and unit testing using tools such as Google Test. + Execute software integration and qualification testing. + Create and interpret software requirements and architectural designs. + Utilize UML diagrams using Enterprise Architect or similar software. + Manage version control using Git and GitHub. + Work with CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment. Essential Skills + Proficiency in software architecture design, coding, and verification testing. + Expertise in C++, Embedded software, and new product development. + Experience in software requirements analysis and architectural design. + Ability to perform static code analysis and unit testing. + Familiarity with UML diagrams and CI/CD pipelines. + Competency using Git and GitHub. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with ASPICE development. + Experience with QNX SDP. + Knowledge of VECTOR CANoe and CANape. + Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR applications. + Proficiency in using SharePoint and JIRA. + Understanding of MQTT and WireShark. + Experience with AWS and Linux-based software development environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Raymond, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
