Key job responsibilities
We are looking for talented Software Development Engineers to build the next generation architecture for the core runtime Orchestration platform and enable new dimensions of customer experiences on Alexa. You will work with the engineering team which shapes core of Alexa engine, and builds capabilities that plays a major role in the evolution of industry-leading conversational assistance capabilities. Your time with us will be impactful, and your vision, creativeness and engineering output adopted by teams across Amazon and beyond.

* Responsible for the development and maintenance of key platform services interfacing with large language models required for building conversational agents.
* Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
* Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against tight schedules.

As a member of the team you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of core product features. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

The minimum base pay salary for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as a sign on payment and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements. Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), commuter benefits where applicable, and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well-being).The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 19,166 monthly.

A day in the life
As a SDE with the Alexa team, you will be responsible for leading the development high performance, low latency, Advanced runtime engineering solutions to advance the state of the art Conversational Assistant agents. Your work will directly impact our customers in the form of products and services that make use of conversational agent innovations. You will leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development with multimodal Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) to improve Conversational Excellence. You will drive the system architecture the best practices that enable a quality infrastructure.
