The team is responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of a new set of cloud services focused specifically on the digital media production industry. Product areas include virtual animation workstation service, digital asset management, high-performance storage, render farm as a service, license management, and production pipeline management services.

We’re building next-generation distributed systems in the cloud. To succeed in this role, you’ll need prior cloud experience (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and the ability to apply it to complex, large-scale environments.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 years of software engineering work experience. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and other computer science fundamentals. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming in one or more of Java, C#, Golang, C++, or similar OO languages.Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills of the used solution stack.
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in building highly available, high-traffic, distributed services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols. Familiarity with concepts such as availability, observability, scalability, testability, recoverability, etc. Good understanding of developing customer-facing microservice-based architectures, tiered architectures, including virtualization, containerization, and REST API interfaces. Previous experience in utilizing public cloud services from the current major providers (such as Oracle, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) in developing complex software products. Domain knowledge and experience with workflows and pipelines for media production – digital asset management and namespaces, familiarity with 3d frameworks, universal scene description, scene graphs, layers and models, 3d data packaging, rendering workflows, image composition, tools used in the workflow by artists, engineers, editors, and content creators is a plus.
