As a Software Engineer in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems and contribute to the development, delivery, and operation of cloud services that will enable high-scale streaming in Live, Linear, and Video-on-Demand (VOD) domains to operate on OCI. You will work closely with senior engineers, learning from real-world challenges across distributed systems, cloud operations, and streaming workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 1 year of software engineering work experience. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and other computer science fundamentals. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming in one or more of Java, C#, Golang, C++, or similar OO languages. Working experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or OCI), including the use of Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills of the used solution stack.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with media delivery technologies (HLS, DASH, CMAF). Exposure to video encoding, packaging, or CDN edge delivery systems. Experience with cloud networking and storage systems used in media pipelines. Understanding of observability and telemetry in high-scale distributed systems.

We’re building next-generation distributed systems in the cloud. To succeed in this role, you’ll need prior cloud experience (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and the ability to apply it to complex, large-scale environments.
