BitPay is looking for a talented software developer to join our UI team. In this role, you’ll help build new products, drive innovation, and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

Develop scalable and maintainable UI components using React and TypeScriptBuild responsive and intuitive user interfaces aligned with modern design principlesCollaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and optimize performanceEnsure code quality through testing, code reviews, and documentationAddress scalability, reliability, and logging challenges during development phases

Requirements:

3+ years of professional software development experienceProficiency in React and TypeScriptExperience with state management libraries such as Redux ToolkitKnowledge of Web3 concepts and blockchain interaction modelsExperience with Web3 libraries such as Ethers, Viem, and WagmiExperience working on Node.js based backendsA portfolio of projects i.e. GitHubPassion for your craft, an insatiable drive for progress, and an unwavering commitment to excellenceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a track record of impressive projects

Preferred:

Experience working with EVM and/or UTXO blockchainsPassion for cryptocurrency as a payments systemExperience with additional front-end frameworks; Vue.js, AngularExperience integrating a frontend with GraphQLExperience migrating projects to React from other Javascript frameworksProficiency with CSS in JS technologies such as Styled Components or Tailwind CSSExperience with modern bundling tools such as ViteExperience building mobile applications in React Native
