**This role is remote  ****Must have an Active DoD Clearance ****Experience as a Software Developer in a DoD Environment ********This is supporting an upcoming need that will begin fall 2025   Primary Functions:  + Provide technical assessments for major projects, proposals, project planning and direction of TI and design efforts. + Ensure all technical assessments and recommendations of software documents are thorough and complete and submitted in time to support overall program milestones and reviews. + Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. + Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. + Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. + May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements. + May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Education/Experience/Skills: + U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD SECRET Clearance required. + Bachelor's degree in quantitative field + SUBSITUTION: Associate degree plus two years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. + 3 -10 professional experience with software engineering. + Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional setting. + Experience with cloud migration and SQL Reporting Services. + Front End and Back End development required. + Must have hands on experience with legacy systems and correcting code. + Must have experience as a developer within a DoD/Federal Environment.   What Your Experience Working for Us   Will Be Like   Ask any of our employees and they will tell you SSI is a great place to work with an upbeat and positive culture.
