Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Design Engineer 3 to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer 3, you will be part of the Windows Security Solutions Department supporting the evaluation and delivery of new security features. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Software Design Engineer
**Location:** Redmond, WA - Remote
**Pay Range: $58.51 - $64.38 on Experis W2**
**Hard skills:**
+ Minimum 5–6 years' experience with data analysis of quality measures
+ Minimum 5–6 years' experience with root causing experimentation failures and resolve
+ Minimum 5–6 years' experience with operating system security experience or concepts
**What's the Job?**
+ Contribute to evaluating new Windows security features against application compatibility standards.
+ Troubleshoot failures and execute feature rollout quality assessments as part of the Windows continuous delivery process.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security solutions and ensure seamless integration.
+ Develop and refine software solutions based on detailed requirements and specifications.
+ Perform post-implementation validation and resolve bugs identified during testing phases.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
+ 5-7 years of experience in software design, development, and troubleshooting.
+ Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
+ Experience with large systems software design and development, including legacy and new systems.
+ Ability to independently troubleshoot, root cause, and drive progress without waiting for instructions.
