SOF/PR Training Support (Fairchild AFB, WA)
The training support function shall be responsible for creating, updating, reviewing and maintaining documents and training records and folders, to be approved by squadron Chief Training Officer. Training support function shall ensure compliance with the AFMAN 11-2(MDS) V1 for the aircraft attached to the 58 th SOW, 36 RQS, and 56 th FW and AFMAN11-202V1 (Chap 1-9) as well as applicable MAJCOM and local supplements for AETC permanent and attached parties. For AETC students, training support shall provide assistance with student gradebook setup, checks and closeout IAW applicable AETCI 36-2605 Volumes, syllabus and locally developed guidance. Training support shall review AETC permanent and attached party’s currencies on a regular basis coordinate with scheduling or flight personnel to ensure completion of required ground and flight training events and prepare proration documents for squadron Chief Training Officer approval. Training support function shall prepare local training/testing programs for aircrew when needed as well as waiver requests for approval by squadron Chief Training Officer or staffing through unit leadership to 19 th AF for coordination and approval. **Responsibilities** + Perform regular gradebook checks for syllabus compliance. + Create, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books. + Coordinate with Scheduling to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for ground or ancillary training. + Consolidate, maintain, and post a printable schedule of training events and classes. + Prepare periodic training/testing plans. + Prepare slides or other needed products for squadron Chief Training Officer approval for use in updates to squadron leadership. + Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor (or equivalent). **Qualifications** + Tier 3 Background Investigation. + Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian). + Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Ability to operate the following systems/programs: + Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS,GTIMS, and PEX) + SharePoint websites and communities of practice + Microsoft Access highly desired **Job ID** 2026-21520 **Work Type** On-Site **Pay Range** $35.45/hour **Health & Welfare** $5.09 **Benefits** SCA - The company offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and a range of other voluntary benefits.
