Social Worker-OB Clinic
**Job Description​** **_Do you have a passion for healthcare and a heart of service? Look no further than Saint Luke's!_** **The OB Clinic Social Worker provides compassionate, patient-centered psychosocial support to women and families receiving obstetric care. This role focuses on addressing emotional, social, financial, and behavioral health needs that impact pregnancy, postpartum well-being, and family adjustment. The Social Worker collaborates with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and community agencies to promote optimal outcomes for both patients and infants.** **Details:** + Full-time day shift position, Monday through Thursday (9-hour days), and Friday (8-noon). + No weekends, nights, or on-call requirements. **Key Responsibilities** + Conduct psychosocial assessments for patients during pregnancy and postpartum periods. + Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and resource coordination for issues such as perinatal mood disorders, intimate partner violence, housing instability, or substance use. + Partner with obstetric providers to identify patients at risk and develop individualized care plans. + Facilitate referrals to community resources, including WIC, mental health services, domestic violence shelters, parenting programs, and financial assistance. + Support care continuity through coordination with inpatient social workers, case management, and external agencies. + Document all patient interactions and interventions in the electronic medical record in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives within the clinic. + Provide education and support to staff regarding psychosocial needs during pregnancy and postpartum care. **Required:** + Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. + Current state licensure as LMSW or LCSW (or equivalent). + Experience in healthcare, maternal-child health, or behavioral health settings. + Strong communication, crisis management, and case coordination skills. + Prior experience in an obstetric, women’s health, or neonatal setting preferred + Bilingual (Spanish/English or other languages) preferred. **Job Requirements** Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Licensed Masters Social Worker - Various Master's Degree **Job Details** Full Time Day (United States of America) **_The best place to get care.
