The position also receives and documents reports of abuse and neglect involving children and vulnerable adults. Reports may be received in person, by phone, or via email and are entered into the department’s data system. Thisposition assists professional social services workers and public social services agency staffwith daily case management activities and provides support to ensure services are delivered effectively and in accordance with policy. Qualifications PREFERENCES: **Agency requires that the successful applicant possess a valid driver's license. KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of parenting. + Knowledge of policies regarding child protection and benefits. + Knowledge of the community or institution to be served. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma Experience: 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs) OR Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + This position takes place in an average work environment.
