Description Social Media Strategist At Emory Healthcare, we are driven by our mission to provide compassionate care and advance health for our patients, their families, and the communities we serve.Our employees are guided by a shared purpose: to deliver world-class patient experiences through innovation, collaboration, and empathy.The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of Emory Healthcare's organic social media presence.This individual will focus on strategy, scheduling, optimization, and performance analysis.Partnering closely with our content and creative teams, the Social Media Strategist ensures that social content is executed with purpose and impact, strengthening how we connect with our patients, employees and community.Strategic DirectionDevelop and execute data-driven system-level social media strategy aligned with Emory Healthcare's organizational brand and service line prioritiesCollaborate with Content Strategists to integrate service line campaigns, sports partnerships, operating unit highlightsLead content development with agency partners as neededResearch audience behavior, platform trends, and competitor activity to inform social strategiesProvide strategic briefs to content and creative teams to ensure campaign deliverables support goalsPosting & Community ManagementPlan, manage and maintain Emory Healthcare's social media calendar to ensure accurate and timely postingOversee campaign rollout across platforms, aligning with broader marketing initiatives and service line prioritiesEnsure tracking mechanisms and analytics are integrated for accurate measurement of performance Optimization & PerformanceIn partnership with analytics team, develop measurement strategy and provide ongoing monitoring and analysis against social KPIsDeliver insights and recommendations to optimize social performance in real timeConduct testing (formats, timing, messaging) to continuously improve outcomesCollaborationPartner with content creators, designers, and other marketing team members to ensure alignment between creative execution and strategyShare campaign results and insights with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersServe as a trusted advisor on how social media can advance Emory Healthcare's brand and patient engagementAdditional Duties as AssignedTravel: Less than 10% of the time may be requiredWork Type: Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fieldExperience in lieu of degree will be consideredExperience: 3 years of experience in social media strategy or digital marketing

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong knowledge of major social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) and analytics toolsProven success in developing strategies that drive measurable resultsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneouslyStrong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insightsEffective communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teamsExperience with social scheduling and analytics platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing social media for a large, complex or multi-brand organizationFamiliarity with paid social campaign strategy and optimizationKnowledge of healthcare marketing, patient engagement, or regulated industries
