Job Summary:
As the Social Media Producer & Manager, you will lead the charge in shaping and executing Xanterra’s dynamic presence across various digital platforms for multiple Xanterra brands in the national parks. As a key player in our marketing department, your role involves developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies, developing content creation, and ensuring brand messaging comes through in every engagement. You will lead the content strategy, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate across departments to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives. This role is highly video-forward, with a strong emphasis on short-form video, emerging social formats, and the use of AI-assisted creative tools. The role will focus on organic social execution on platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Pinterest.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop and execute Xanterra’s organic social media strategies for multiple national park brands, driving followers and engagement across both B2B and B2C platforms.Define KPIs that align with business goals and analyze campaign performance metrics.Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy, ensuring alignment with brand goals and target audience interests.
Content Creation and Coordination:
Create and maintain social media content calendars for various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more.Create highly engaging social media content with a strong emphasis on video, motion graphics, and short-form clips—editing and repurposing raw footage into platform-optimized posts that drive attention, engagement, and shareability.Lead and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand message.
Monitoring and Analytics:
Execute a results-driven social media strategy with meaningful results (lead generation, website traffic, conversions, organic growth, user engagement).Collaborate with the analytics team to utilize social media and business metrics to analyze and enhance campaign outcomes, making data-driven adjustments as needed.Stay informed about social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments.
Influencer Relations:
Collaborate with PR agency on influencer strategy to enhance brand visibility.Work with property operations to coordinate influencer site visits.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing, public relations, and other departments to integrate social media into broader marketing initiatives.Ensure consistent messaging across all brand touchpoints.Partner with Crisis Committee and respond promptly and professionally to social media crises, protecting and enhancing the brand’s reputation.Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.Strong leadership and communication skills.Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools.Open to a flexible schedule to manage content outside of normal business hoursCreative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Experience with HubSpot a plus
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000.
