**Job Description** **_Strengthening and empowering all of the communities we serve._** **NJ Advance Media** is looking for a **Social Media Producer** to help shape how our journalism and storytelling show up on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. This role is at the intersection of newsroom publishing and social-first content creation — packaging stories for social media reach, sourcing user-generated content, and experimenting with short-form video that feels native to each platform. Social platforms are often the first (and sometimes only) way audiences encounter our work. This role helps ensure we connect with people in smart, engaging, and responsible ways, while giving you real ownership and room to grow in a modern digital newsroom. If you understand culture, sports, news, and internet trends — and you’re comfortable creating content and occasionally appearing on camera — this is a great place to grow. The base salary range is $50,000 - $55,000 per year.
