Job Description An aerospace client is seeking a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Process Engineer to join their engineering team. This role will oversee maintenance operations at their Huntsville facility, ensuring efficient production, safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of facility processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in process engineering with specialized expertise in SMT. They will be responsible for optimizing operational workflows, maintaining equipment reliability, and leading both the maintenance and facilities teams. This role involves leading and developing the maintenance team by assigning work, evaluating performance, providing training, tracking key metrics, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This person needs to be local to the Huntsville area or be willing to re locate to Huntsville, AK as this position is 5 days on site - if relocation is necessary a relocation package will be provided.
