Help Drive Enterprise Project Visibility for a Leader in Electronics Manufacturing as a Smartsheet Project Manager 

Location: Richardson, TX | Schedule: 7am/9am to 4pm/6pm | Payrate: $65/hour 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry to hire a Smartsheet Project Manager who will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and scaling Smartsheet-based project solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on Smartsheet expert who enjoys building systems that improve visibility, efficiency, and execution across complex projects. 

 
 

Role Overview 

The Smartsheet Project Manager will leverage advanced Smartsheet expertise to develop, document, track, and report on medium-complexity projects. This position focuses on building workflows, automations, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide real-time insight to stakeholders and leadership. The role has a direct impact on how teams plan, execute, and make data-driven decisions. 

 
 

Key Responsibilities 

Solution Design and Implementation: Build, configure, and maintain customized Smartsheet solutions, including sheets, reports, dashboards, and forms. 

Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows using alerts, approval requests, update requests, and conditional logic. 

Data and Reporting: Create advanced cross-sheet formulas, cell linking, and report summaries to support rollups and executive-level reporting. 

Dashboard Development: Design interactive dashboards with metrics, charts, and report widgets to provide real-time project visibility. 

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and critical paths, translating business needs into functional Smartsheet solutions. 

Governance and Standardization: Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, maintainability, and permissions management. 

Training and Adoption: Develop documentation, tutorials, and training sessions to support user adoption and long-term success. 

 
 

Required Qualifications 

3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Smartsheet, including complex implementations for new user groups 

Advanced knowledge of Smartsheet automation rules, Control Center, formula creation, and data mesh 

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid 

Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets and Microsoft or Google Office tools 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) 

 
 

Preferred Qualifications 

Smartsheet certifications, including Product Certified User, Advanced Product Certified, or Solution Architect 

Experience supporting PMO, operations, or technology-driven environments, including Electronics Manufacturing or IT

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize complex solutions 

Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Pay Details: $65.00 per hour
