Small Projects Facilities Manager Job ID 253773 Posted 29-Dec-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Building Management, Project Management Location(s) New York City - New York - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Small Projects Facilities Manager, you will manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout. Some travel may be required within a specific region. **What You’ll Do:** + Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery, prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. + Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists. + Conducts simple request for proposals; completes bid analysis with management support. + Recommends resources to clients. Leads project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals. + Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed. + Facilitates project meetings. Implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. + Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. + Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule + Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard documents affecting real estate projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. + Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. + Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred. + Experience with leading small to medium projects preferably with commercial real estate. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. + Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills. The minimum salary for the Facility Manager - Small Projects position is $ 105,000 annually and the maximum salary is $ 125,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
