Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Diagnostic and therapeutic intervention for adults with aphasia and apraxia and children with language and literacy disorders. + Comprehensive documentation, including treatment plans, reports, daily notes. + Collaboration with a team of Speech-Language Pathologists. + Education of care-partners and consultation with other professionals. The University of Michigan Aphasia Program (UMAP) is one of a few clinical service programs around the country to offer an intensive speech-language therapy approach that combines individual, group, and teach-based learning, exemplifying the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia. **Required Qualifications*** + Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. + Ability to work with adults diagnosed with neurological-based communication disorders and with children who have language and literacy disorders. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Organizational and time management skills. + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. **Modes of Work** Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
