TLC- The Treatment and Learning Centers in Rockville, MD has an opening which is a split position in our Outpatient Pediatrics Clinic and at our school, The Katherine Thomas High School, located in Rockville, MD. This is a full-time position beginning with the current school year. KTHS services students with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or moderate to high functioning autism. Equal Opportunity Employer At KTHS, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students who exhibit communication learning problems related to speech, pragmatic language and autism. This position is 10 months and would be for 20 hours per week. In our Outpatient Clinic, the SLP would provide 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during non-school year weeks. This is a 12-month position. Required Experience for the Speech Language Pathologist: + Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or equivalent degree + Must be licensed by the State of MD + Applicants must have CCC's + Have strong diagnostic evaluation and report writing skills + Experience in AAC, Feeding therapy, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, and/or multilingual intervention a plus + Experience in Augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing and Social Thinking is a plus
