**Job Title: Slitter Operator** **Job Description**
Join our team as a Slitter Operator, where you will work in a cleanroom environment dedicated to manufacturing resistant film for circuit board production. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the film by preventing dust and debris contamination.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate slitting equipment and ensure the production of high-quality film rolls.
+ Utilize a forklift to transport materials and place them on the machine.
+ Work closely with a helper to load raw materials and unload the final product.
+ Measure and monitor all products using measuring equipment.
+ Troubleshoot HMI errors or mechanical malfunctions during operations.
+ Document all product runs and operate label machines for inventory tracking.
+ Assist in packaging operations by sliding completed rolls into sleeves.
+ Lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous machine operation experience, particularly with slitter or saw machines.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to measure for quality purposes.
+ Experience in reading pressure gauges.
+ Proficiency in performing basic math, including subtraction, addition, and division.
+ Ability to read bar graphs for data collection.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with material handling, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with CNC machine operations is beneficial.
+ Willingness to work in a resin and chemical-based area for short periods.
+ Capability to work overtime as assigned.

**Work Environment**
Work in a smaller facility with 32 employees, where tenure is highly valued, and layoffs are rare. Join a team that operates in a cleanroom and general manufacturing environment. The cleanroom maintains a comfortable temperature of 66 degrees with dimmer lighting to protect the film's integrity. Expect to work 5 days a week with options for 1st (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-12:30am).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Chesterfield, VA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
