Our client is seeking a Slitter Operator to join their team. As a Slitter Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Slitter Operator **Location:** Hanover, PA **Pay Range: $17 to $19 an hour depending on experience** **What's the Job?** + Check loads of plate for possible problems before running them on the slitter. + Accurately fill out production reports from load tickets. + Inspect body blanks being produced for quality, margins, surface scratches, squareness, and color variation. + Feed body blanks into the welder and feed ends into Double Seamers while checking the quality of ends. + Assist in maintaining a clean work area and support the production team in achieving quality and quantity goals. **What's Needed?** + Manufacturing experience is a plus. + Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hour shifts. + Good attendance record.
