About the Role
We’re hiring Slitter Operators to run high‑speed slitting/rewind equipment in a clean, safety‑first manufacturing environment. You’ll set up jobs, monitor quality, and keep production on pace while maintaining tight tolerances.
What You’ll DoSet up and operate slitter/rewinder equipment to convert rolls to customer specs (width, diameter, core, footage)Interpret work orders/spec sheets; verify materials, tooling, and lot numbers before each runPerform in‑process quality checks (edge quality, core alignment, roll hardness, label accuracy) and record resultsUse measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, rulers, scales) to verify dimensions and weightsComplete machine changeovers efficiently (knives/blades, spacers, cores) and minimize scrapPalletize, tag, and stage finished goods; update ERP/production logs accuratelyExecute basic troubleshooting, housekeeping (5S), and routine preventative maintenanceFollow all safety procedures including LOTO and PPE requirementsWhat You’ll Bring1+ year as a slitter/rewinder, converting, press, or machine operator (metals, paper/film/foil, labels, or similar)Comfortable with tape measures, calipers, and reading specs/printsStrong attention to detail, steady pace, and reliable attendance on nightsAble to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8–10 hour shiftsBonus: forklift experience, basic mechanical aptitude, or prior GMP/ISO environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.50/hr.
