Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Slitter Machine Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating slitting equipment, coordinating with the Assistant Slitter Operator, and ensuring the quality of the materials processed.
ResponsibilitiesSet up slitter, shear, or other equipment for production.Lead and work with the Assistant Slitter Operator to prepare equipment.Operate equipment and manage the loading and unloading of coils.Maintain visual inspection of materials during slitting and report any substandard material.Package, weigh, and tag finished coils.Essential SkillsPrevious experience as a Slitter Operator.Ability to read a tape measure.Light troubleshooting experience.Mechanical knowledge.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production and general labor.Work Environment
The work schedule for both Material Handler and Machine Operator positions is from 6 am to 4:30 pm. Occasionally, working past 4:30 pm may be necessary, as well as some Fridays. Employees are entitled to a lunch break and two paid breaks during their shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
