Slip Sheet Forklift Lead
**Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor/ Slip Sheet Lead** *MUST HAVE SLIP SHEET OPERATING EXPERIENCE* **Pay:** $25 - $26.50 per hour **Shift:** 8:00am - 6:00pm - Monday - Friday **Location** : Northside Jacksonville, FL (32226) Job Description The Warehouse Supervisor assists in coordinating daily warehousing activities, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards while achieving appropriate volume levels within established timelines. The role ensures that daily operations meet and exceed performance expectations to increase the company’s overall market share. Responsibilities + Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods. + Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance. + Follow all company SOPs in collaboration with team members. + Organize and maintain inventory and storage area. + Ensure the accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions. + Communicate job expectations and coach employees. + Assist in determining necessary staffing levels and assigning workloads. + Interact with customers to answer questions or solve problems. + Maintain item records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status. + Identify strengths, areas of opportunity, propose modifications to procedures, and present innovative strategies to increase warehouse efficiency. + Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained. + Coordinate activities with other departments. + Promote teamwork at all times. + Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned. Essential Skills + High school diploma/GED and at least 2-5 years of experience in a leadership position. + Experience coaching, mentoring, and training others. + Proficient with Microsoft Office and working with reports. + Previous warehouse experience. + Cargo staging experience. + Basic import/export knowledge, including label and documentation requirements. + Warehouse equipment care basics. + Ocean container loading knowledge. + OSHA Forklift License/Certification. + Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor or team leader. + Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques. + Technical proficiency and experience using MS Office and warehouse software packages such as Magaya and Cargowise 1. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with professional email etiquette. + Strong organizational and time management skills. + Hands-on commitment to getting the job done. + Willingness to work rotating shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.50/hr.
