**Skilled Construction Worker / CDL Driver** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled construction worker with a Class B CDL to handle various duties on a construction site, ranging from clean‑up, setting forms, heavy lifting, and using hand tools and shovels to dig trenches. This role also includes CDL driving responsibilities. Candidates will need to hold a Class B CDL with Airbrake and Tanker endorsements and will be responsible for operating a Vac Truck to support water, sewer, and utility work. Additional tasks include installing water, sewer, and sanitary pipes, as well as setting up concrete forms for water chambers. **Responsibilities** + Perform clean-up activities using shovels and other hand tools. + Install water/sewer/sanitary pipes and set up concrete forms for water chambers. + Engage in pipe laying and utility construction tasks. + Operate a Vac Truck for hydro-excavation and utility related tasks + Drive commercial vehicles requiring a Class B CDL with Airbrake and Tanker endorsements **Essential Skills** + Class B CDL with Tanker and Airbrake endorsements + 12+ months of recent job tenure in construction. + Valid license and reliable transportation. + OSHA 10 certification is mandatory. + Ability to lift 50-70 lbs on a regular basis. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in utility work is preferred. + Prior experience in pipe laying is advantageous. + Familiarity with concrete work is beneficial. **Work Environment** Work in a construction environment, primarily outdoors, involving dirt work and exposure to various weather conditions, from hot summers to cold winters. The role requires willingness to get dirty and work in trenches. Typical hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday work when weather impacts the schedule. Teams consist of 3-5 members, including a foreman and laborers. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $32.00/hr.
