Job Description

Aerotek is hiring immediately for a construction laborer in Rockland, ME. We are seeking experienced general construction laborers to join our team. You will work alongside a 3 to 4 person crew using hand tools, aiding in the construction of docks, piers, and retaining walls. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits! This role will have a base rate of $20 - $23 an hour and there will be rates in place for the type of work you're doing. For example: If you are doing concrete work, metal work, or welding you will receive a higher rate for every over of that type of work.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a crew to build docks, piers, and retaining walls.Utilize hand tools effectively in construction tasks.Assist in the handling and operation of boats.Perform tasks that require lifting standard weights of up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds.Maintain cleanliness of the work site and tools.

Essential Skills

1 to 2 years of construction labor experience.Strong mechanical ability.Knowledge of hand tools and boats.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous construction laborer experience preferred.A learning mentality to adapt and grow within the role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
