The Service Technician is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficient execution of Get Ready and refurbishment activities for modular products, including mobile office trailers, sectional modular offices, container offices, and storage containers.

ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs and modifications to modular products, including framing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear.Collaborate with other technicians to clean units upon arrival for redeployment.Work in trailers, C-cans, the shop, and yard to ensure readiness for delivery with high-quality standards.Load and unload materials and products as needed.Maintain inventory levels for equipment, tools, and parts required for service tasks.Keep working areas clean and organized, including the lawn, parking lot, and building.Ensure a safe working environment by practicing safe habits.Paint exteriors of trailers or C-cans as required.Perform office maintenance and repair tasks as needed.Inspect old equipment according to specifications and remove from stock.
Essential SkillsExperience as a Service Technician in construction, restoration, or remediation.Minimum 6 months of carpentry experience.Forklift experience.Proficiency with hand and power tools such as saws, drills, ratchets, and screwdrivers.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.Ability to document site paperwork and log information into a computer.Completion of Comply Works training before starting.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic plumbing experience.Experience with trailer or C-can outfitting.

Work Environment

Work in an outdoor yard and inside trailers or C-cans at the Insta-Space Storage location in Delta, BC. This fast-paced, team-oriented environment provides a family-friendly feel. Employees will report to experienced staff and participate in morning meetings before engaging in productive work throughout the day. Prior to starting, complete Online Health & Safety training at home. The dress code includes steel toe boots, and the company supplies hard hats, safety vests, gloves, and goggles. Long pants and shirts are required at all times.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
