Skilled Laborer - CAN START ASAP!!!

Contract to Hire | South Portland, ME | $20-$22/hr

We are actively hiring experienced construction laborers to support a high-impact infrastructure project in South Portland. This role involves physically demanding work and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of piers and other heavy construction efforts. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the expansion of piers and other structural componentsOperate cutting torches and welding equipment as neededHandle and position heavy construction materials, including timber and concretePerform lifting tasks up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifts up to 70 poundsMaintain a clean and safe worksite while supporting skilled trades

Required Skills and Experience:

1 to 2 years of general construction labor experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction toolsExperience working with heavy timber and concreteAbility to operate power tools safely and efficientlyReliable transportation and punctuality

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
