**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer-Skilled Assembler 2nd Shift** **Job Description** You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of test equipment, particularly the flagship model known as the 'eclipse' test machine. Your tasks will include building machines from blueprints, completing plumbing and electrical wiring, utilizing hand tools and power tools. The position requires working the 2nd shift from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. The workplace is clean, featuring multiple areas dedicated to work in process (WIP), starting with raw materials and resulting in a finished product. The facility houses various departments, including Engineering, Machining, Welding, Metal Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving. Employees are required to wear working attire with a welding helmet, gloves, and steel toe boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
