We are looking to fill a Site/Systems Reliability summer internship within the Disney Experiences Technology organization based in Orlando, Florida, specifically within the Commerce Technical Operations (Site Reliability Engineering) team. 

What You Will Do

We are seeking students studying Computer Science or related field for a paid, 12-week summer internship program designed to provide current students with the opportunity to apply their technical skills to real-world projects with industry leaders in Technology. Our Disney Tech Internship program is dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for students through professional development, mentorship, networking opportunities, and career placement assistance. You will design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems and applications using machine learning, deep learning, and other AI techniques. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable AI-powered solutions in support of the Yield Management program. 

You will

·         Design, build, and maintain AI/ML models and AI-driven software applications

·         Implement and optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability

·         Integrate AI models into production systems and APIs

·         Work with large datasets to train, test, and evaluate models

·         Monitor, debug, and improve model performance over time

·         Stay current with AI research, tools, and best practices

Required Qualifications & Skills

·         Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar)

·         Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

·         Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles

·         Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

·         Cloud ML services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

·         Strong problem solving and analysis skills

Education:

Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:  

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.  

Be at least 18 years of age

Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information:

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

Fully available from M-F, 40 hours each week for the entire program duration: May/June - August/September 2026 (12 weeks)

Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program

Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $38 per hour.
