Job Title: Site Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to manage and oversee construction site activities and conditions. The role involves collaborating with Sales and Project Management Teams to plan, organize, and direct the installation and construction of material handling equipment projects. Responsibilities include managing general contractors, conducting site surveys, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Sales and Project Management Teams.Plan, organize, and direct activities for the installation and construction of material handling equipment projects.Load and unload trucks/trailers as needed.Attend company project and job-site meetings.Conduct site walks, surveys, and quality checks.Measure job sites for installation preparation.Manage General Contractors and vendors to ensure quality work.Create and review punch lists.Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and supplies to jobsites if required.Manage work order reports (paper and digital) for each job in a timely manner.Perform hazard assessments and maintain high standards of safe work practices and quality control.Adhere to company and OSHA safety rules and guidelines.Complete all necessary company training promptly.Read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Essential SkillsExperience in project management, schematic reading, and construction management.Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment.Proficiency in reading blueprints and drawings.Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Experience using Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Word.Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the Dock & Door Industry is a plus.Working knowledge of construction site conditions within the industry.OSHA 30 Certification is highly preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven, service environment.Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs.Ability to work independently and accurately follow directions.Ability to manage personnel resources.Ability to travel to the jobsite and work overtime if urgencies arise.

Work Environment

Work is performed in diverse locations such as warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, refineries, and hospital settings. Employees often work side-by-side with co-workers in environments where exposure to high voltage AC/DC power is common. The noise level can range from moderate to high.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Gilroy, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.15 - $57.69/hr.
