Site Reliability Engineer

Position Summary:
As a Site Reliability Engineer for the cloud platform for our customers, you will apply software engineering skills to operate and maintain Thales applications and system. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and efficiency of our software systems while enabling fast deployment.
Thales is looking for a Java Developer who will be part of a multi-disciplinary team developing and deploying in production our Digital Banking Solution components.
In this position, you will have the responsibility to define, implement, and maintain the various digital pipelines for our Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), right from the development to the production environment, as well as build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, such as advanced monitoring dashboards, automation of our services provisioning for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team developing and deploying in production our Digital Banking Solution components.You will have the responsibility to define, implement, and maintain the various digital pipelines for our Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), right from the dev environment to the production environment.You will Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, such as advanced monitoring dashboards, automation of our services provisioning for our customers.You will be on call (approx. 1 week per month) to ensure that our service is meeting our Customer SLA.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree ideally in IT (electronics, telecommunications…) or other scientific disciplineAdvance communicative EnglishJava development knowledgeBasic of Software Engineering and Software lifecyclePrior exposure to Cloud environment (AWS, GCP)Automation tools and languages. One or more of: Gitlab, Jenkins, bash, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Saltstack, Selenium, etc.Knowledge of Linux/Unix AdministrationProblem solving attitudePreferred Qualifications:
Orchestration and Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, HelmProgramming experience: Python, NodeJS, Java Knowledge of Splunk and Datadog for service monitoringInterest in Security and ethical HackingITIL foundation certificationAWS CertificationNetwork basicsSQL and database administration basicsWhat We Offer
