Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the OCI block storage team.

 

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of experience with Linux shell scripting, and Python

Proficient with Linux based build and analysis tools (e.g. make, scons/cons, bazel)

Familiarity with CICD environments

Familiarity with Agile Development

Proficient with commonly used networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP

Familiarity with docker containers

Familiarity with databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.

Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Bachelors in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fields
