Site Marketing Manager , Zappos FBA
Description Zappos is seeking a savvy marketer to own content, curations, and site merchandising for the Zappos Marketplace on Amazon. This role will be responsible for building the end-to-end site experience, including managing the content calendar, curating product stories, partnering with tech teams to refine the CX (e.g., selection, filters), reporting on performance, and standardizing best practices into a playbook. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of visual merchandising and content marketing in the B2C or e-commerce space. They have exceptional project management skills, is highly detail-oriented, and able to execute flawlessly to meet timelines. They know how to balance creative and technical requirements to test new initiatives (e.g., generative AI) and create a best-in-class shopping experience that inspires browsing and drives conversion. They are innovative, creative, and knowledgeable of current footwear trends. Key job responsibilities * Build, QA, and manage site content to promote visually compelling stories and selection * Partner on content creation (e.g., generative AI, photoshoots) to deliver a regular cadence of site updates aligning to seasonal events, industry moments, brand launches, and trends * Work with product, engineering, and business intelligence teams to optimize and troubleshoot site placements * Set up testing and experimentation to gain customer insights on CX improvements * Track, measure, and benchmark site performance * Manage and report out on projects, status, and work with teams to remove any project blockers. * Curate assortments to support featured stories and marketing traffic drivers * Maintain seasonal and trend assortments to support large campaigns and promote discovery * Manage additional special products as needed * Stay current with fashion and footwear retail industry to continue iterating on a best-in-class site experience Basic Qualifications - 1+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements - Experience with onsite marketing, lifecycle marketing and digital advertising Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity and comfort with GenAI applications for content and copy Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
