Job Title: Site Foreman
Job Description
As a Site Foreman, you will supervise and coordinate the daily activities of crew members, including equipment operators, pipe layers, and laborers. You will plan and execute work activities to meet project schedules and productivity goals, interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and grade information, and ensure proper installation of storm, sanitary, water, and other underground utilities. Additionally, you will coordinate with project management, superintendents, inspectors, and subcontractors, enforce safety requirements, conduct daily job safety briefings, and inspect completed work for quality and compliance. We are only considering candidates who have experience as a pipe laying foreman.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of crew members.Plan and execute work activities to meet project schedules.Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and grade information.Set and maintain line and grade for utilities and roadway construction.Ensure proper installation of storm, sanitary, water, and other underground utilities.Coordinate with project management, superintendents, inspectors, and subcontractors.Enforce all OSHA, DOT, municipal, and site-specific safety requirements.Conduct daily job safety briefings and enforce safe work practices.Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with public project standards.Order materials, coordinate deliveries, and manage equipment utilization.Maintain daily reports, time tracking, and production documentation.Address and resolve field issues related to labor, equipment, materials, and site conditions.Essential Skills
Construction management experienceProficiency in civil, installation, and general laborExperience in commercial constructionAbility to use hand tools and interpret blueprintsKnowledge of safety and construction supervisionAdditional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in heavy civil, road construction, or site workPrior foreman or lead-person experience preferredExperience working on public works projects (DOT, municipal, state, or federal)Strong knowledge of utility installation, excavation, grading, and roadway constructionAbility to read and understand construction drawings and project specificationsProven leadership, communication, and crew-management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with inspectors and project stakeholdersWhy Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
