Ensure all completed faults and failures are formally closed within agreed timescales and contractual standards. Carry out all work activities in strict accordance with current Health and Safety legislation and company procedures. Support the management team in reducing utilities consumption through daily monitoring of the Building Management System (BMS), applying engineering knowledge and best practice. Conduct weekly testing of life safety systems, including fire alarms and life-sign monitoring systems. Report all faults or failures relating to contractual assets and M&E systems to the management team and confirm rectification with the Premises Manager. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to attend site at least one month in advance of their PPM visits and act as the primary on-site contact. Provide the Premises Manager with engineers' worksheets, supplier delivery notes, and escalate any abnormalities or additional works identified by subcontractors to the Account Manager. Supply the Facilities Management (FM) team with accurate electronic information, including supplier details, part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and costs, to facilitate timely purchase order processing. Provide monthly utilities meter readings to the Premises Manager. Ensure on-site storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and well organised; ensure work areas are left clean following self-delivered works and that subcontractors do the same. Assist in the preparation of additional works quotations to support Authority Variation Requests (AVRs) within contractual timeframes.
