POSITION SUMMARY

Holiday Vacations is currently seeking a part-time Shuttle Driver to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting our guests from one location to another, in comfortable vehicles, including a Subaru Outback, Ford Transit, and an eleven-seat Mercedes Sprinter.  The successful candidate will prioritize the safety and well-being of passengers, pedestrians, and follow all traffic laws. Of equal importance is the ability and desire to provide a world-class guest experience with a positive attitude and a welcoming demeanor.

 

No special license or driving certification is required, but a clean driving record is required for consideration.

Drivers represent Holiday Vacations directly and shape the guest experience from the first interaction.Professional Driving & Vehicle Operation by operating multiple vehicle types (SUVs and a Mercedes Sprinter), transporting passengers efficiently, and handling luggage safely.Reliability, Punctuality & Time Management by consistently being punctual, adhering to set schedules and variable work hours, and offering flexibility during peak travel months. Driver timeliness directly impacts airport transfers, guest satisfaction, and tour timing.Communication & Technology Use by being proficient in using a cell phone to make calls, sending messages, navigating Google maps or other GPS navigation systems, and looking up airline schedules. Smooth communication and navigation support efficient operations and reduce travel disruptions.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Safely transport guests to and from various locations throughout central and west Wisconsin, with many trips involving dropping off or picking up at the Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport.Professionally operate a range of vehicles, including Subaru Outback, Ford Transit, and an eleven-seat Mercedes Sprinter.Provide world-class customer service, embodying our commitment to excellence by exhibiting professionalism in all interactions with a positive and welcoming approach with our guests.Ensures punctuality and efficiency in shuttle operations, adhering to schedules and timelines.Safely and efficiently load and unload guest luggage from the shuttle vehicle, providing courteous assistance and ensuring the security of passengers’ belongings. Maintain the cleanliness of the shuttle vehicle including fueling after use, and reporting any mechanical issues, damages, or accidents immediately.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Clean driving record is required and must be maintained during employment. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and delivering exceptional customer service. Proficiency in utilizing a cell phone for making calls, sending texts, navigating Google maps or other GPS navigation systems, accessing the internet for airline schedules, and other relevant tasks. Ability to handle luggage up to 50 pounds.Reside in or near Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Schedule:

Hours for this part-time role are intermittent, variable, and subject to guest travel schedules. Flexibility to work during the busiest months of May through October when you can expect 0-10 transfers per week, and the rest of the year when you can expect 0-4 transfers per week.Schedules are typically arranged multiple weeks in advance.Hours can vary between day and night, workdays could include any time, and any day.Occasional overnight trips may be required.

 Physical Requirements:

The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. May require bending, twisting, stooping, grasping, and reaching outward or above shoulders, lift/carry and push or pull up to 50 lbs.
