We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Non-CDL shuttle driver to complete local pickup and delivery routes throughout the DMV area. This role involves transporting goods, small freight, and supplies between company locations, customer sites, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate is punctual, customer-service oriented, and familiar with regional traffic patterns.
ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a company vehicle (non-CDL required) to complete scheduled local deliveries.Pick up and deliver packages, materials, and equipment to customers, partners, and internal sites across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and proof-of-delivery documentation.Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or delivery issues.Load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques; ensure items are secured for transport.Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle concerns.Follow all DOT, company, and safety guidelines, even though a CDL is not required.Provide friendly, professional customer service during all delivery interactions.Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition.Essential SkillsCustomer serviceLoading and unloadingLocal delivery drivingInventory managementTransport and logisticsAdditional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with regional traffic patternsAbility to communicate effectively with dispatch and customersWhy Work Here?Working for a non-profit organization offers the opportunity for team building and development, as well as participation in community activities.
