As a Foreman, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems on industrial projects, including shipbuilding, construction, and manufacturing. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to follow strict safety guidelines.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair piping systems, including pipe, valves, and fittings.Cut, bend, and weld pipe according to blueprints and specifications.Troubleshoot and diagnose piping system problems.Follow safety guidelines and procedures.Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Essential SkillsExperience as a foreman or in a related field, with a minimum of 3-4 years.Journeyman foreman license or equivalent certification.Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPipe welder experience, including stick, pipe, TIG, and 6G welding.Experience in commercial construction and shutdowns.

Work Environment
You will be working on the Ameresco job in Norfolk and throughout Hampton Roads on various construction jobs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 am to 4 pm, with some Saturdays as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
