**Job Title: Shop Technician and Driver** **Job Description** This position is based in a warehouse environment and involves providing support within the warehouse as well as delivering orders to local customers. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. **Responsibilities** + Driving Duties (30% of the time): + - Pick up and deliver materials to customer sites within the West Portland Metro area using a 24-foot box truck. + - Interact directly with customers during order drop-offs. + - Maintain a clean vehicle and organized truck materials. + - Follow all traffic laws and practice safe driving at all times. + - Ensure timely delivery of orders with minimal delays. + - Lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. + Warehouse/Production Duties (70% of the time): + - Operate various machines such as die cutters, glue-machines, band saws, table saws, chop saws, and crate building materials to produce specialty packaging. + - Collaborate effectively with team members by asking questions and adapting to work in different areas as needed. + - Check shipping documentation and ensure accuracy. + - Operate electric sit-down forklift (training provided). + - Use basic hand tools for crating materials. + - Lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. **Essential Skills** + Ability to stand, lift, walk, and move throughout the entire shift. + Strong reliability and attendance. + Willingness to work well with others, take directions, and communicate respectfully. + Clean driving record. + Customer service skills for deliveries. + Experience using a forklift and pallet jack. **Work Environment** The work environment is a clean and calm warehouse space attached to a small office, equipped with packaging machines. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
