**Job Title: Shop Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling electric motors and pumps. Your role involves using your strong mechanical experience and some electrical knowledge to test electro-mechanical rotating equipment, troubleshoot issues, and replace or repair defective parts. You will operate specialized repair and testing equipment to ensure optimal performance of the machinery. **Responsibilities** + Disassemble electric motors and pumps for cleaning and repair. + Reassemble motors and pumps after repairs are completed. + Troubleshoot and test electro-mechanical rotating equipment using AC/DC methods. + Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electrical parts such as brushes, bearings, gears, and more. + Operate specialized equipment including test panels, surge testers, core loss testers, and other repair tools. + Work with various equipment like burnout ovens, cranes, forklift trucks, torches, and more. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical experience with some electrical knowledge. + Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical mechanical rotating equipment. + Proficiency in operating specialized repair and testing equipment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. + 2+ years of experience working with industrial motors or automotive/diesel transmissions and motors. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Camp Hill, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $61000.00/yr.
