**We Are Currently Hiring For Shop Mechanics!** **Job Description** As a Shop Technician, you will perform testing, repairs, and maintenance activities on forklifts and other equipment. You will work under the guidance of a supervisor and have the opportunity to grow through training classes. Your role will involve providing a positive image to customers and collaborating effectively with all departments. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose unit problems accurately. + Attend and participate in all service-related meetings. + Complete and submit paperwork to the Service Manager in a timely manner, ensuring legibility and completeness, with customer signatures on required paperwork. + Communicate regularly with the Service Manager, Parts Department, and CSS to build and maintain reliable, positive relationships. + Support the parts department by allowing time for stock orders, supplying correct unit information for proper part ordering, keeping shop inventory clean and organized, and utilizing critical parts orders when needed. **Essential Skills** + Repair and mechanical skills. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Knowledge of pneumatics and wiring installation. **Why Work Here?** Our company is committed to fostering professional growth through training opportunities.
