Job Description
The shop lead will be responsible for training new employees and should have extensive experience in carpentry. This role involves making framing and trim for exterior and interior doors and cutting holes for windows and doorknobs. Candidates should be prepared to work at least 10 hours of overtime per week during busy seasons.
ResponsibilitiesTrain new employees in carpentry techniques and shop procedures.Create framing and trim for exterior and interior doors.Cut holes for windows and door knobs.Utilize various hand and power tools, including air tools and tape measures.Read and interpret blueprints for industrial production.Essential Skills5+ years of carpentry experience.Proficiency in reading a tape measure.Basic computer knowledge and daily use of a tablet.Experience with a spray gun using precise detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsManagement skills.Ability to finish and trim carpentry work.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working with a team of 2-3 people in a climate-controlled environment. While the majority of the work is performed independently, other team members will handle various preparatory tasks. The standard shift is from 7am to 5pm, with the option to start earlier if needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OMAHA, Nebraska.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
