**Job Title: Shop Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to assist in the operation of a burn table. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in metal fabrication and industrial manufacturing, who is eager to work hands-on with machinery. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the operation of a burn/laser table. + Utilize crane/jib to move plates and cut parts. + Manage steel plate inventory. + Load and unload machines. + Stack finished parts on pallets. + Move inventory with a forklift. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical inclination. + 1-3 years of industrial manufacturing experience. + Proficiency with hand tools. + Basic math comprehension, including tape measure readings. + Proven mechanical aptitude. + Ability to lift 50-75lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Interest in metal fabrication. + Experience with machine operation and machine shop environments. + Familiarity with power tools and blueprint reading. + Experience with burn tables, laser operation, plasma cutting, and fabrication. **Why Work Here?** This position is a great stepping stone to start a career with an industrial parts manufacturer.
