**Job Title: Blaster** Job Description We are a leading manufacturer of cement mixing trucks and cement pumping trucks/trailers. We are seeking a Blaster to join our team and contribute to the quality preparation and finishing of our products. Responsibilities + Complete paint preparation duties within the weld department. + Utilize forklifts, overhead cranes, or reach trucks to move parts from welding bay to paint priming booth. + Prepare each piece to be primed to prevent damage during blasting. + Operate a PBC Autoblast system to achieve proper finish. + Prepare finishes for booth use and test their viscosity. + Handle all fabricated parts and manage inventory on paints, thinners, reducers, hardeners, and coal tar. + Paint racks, trailers, fixtures, tables, and pipeline. Essential Skills + 2-4 years of experience with pressure feed power washers, spray guns, hand trucks, forklifts, PVS Autoblast system, cranes, and common hand tools. + Familiarity with hand scanners. + Computer experience and knowledge. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to perform work on the production floor 100% of the time. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in industrial spray and painting. + Knowledge of sanding and paint booth operations. Why Work Here? The weld shop consists of about 35 people, working typically from 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with heavy overtime available, usually from 5am-3:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
